I had a strong preference for anything that was small: miniatures, watches. I found that I had a strong interest in the technical aspect of watches, radio’s or anything technical compressed in a small enclosure, which I was very happy to dismantle to uncover it’s secrets.

Very early in my life I realized my appreciation for the finer things.
Later I devoted my life to more creative studies: theatre, creative studies, social studies.
Aside from the satisfaction arising from working with people it thaught me the joy of creating something; a play, music, a work of art or craft. Very often created through the collaboration with a variety of very different individuals.
Until at last i returned to my childhood love for watchmaking. The creation of a watch involves countless steps, from the design and engineering of the movement to the intricate detailing of the movement, case and dial. Each component is crafted with precision and care and assembled with great attention to detail.
The result for me is always stunning: a mechanical masterpiece that can keep time with remarkable accuracy.
